30k service question

I am going to try to word this in a way that makes sense.

I don't put a lot of miles on my 4runner. I know that the service manual recommends service every 6 months/5,000 miles. My question is, when I get to the 36 month/30k interval, if I am not anywhere near 30k miles, would you recommend just getting an oil change at that point, or going ahead and doing the entire 30k service?

I bought my 4runner with a little over 17k miles on it. In the first week of August, I had my 24 month/20k service done with a little over 19k miles on my 4runner. 3 months later, I am barely over 20.5k miles.

Suggestions?

Do it yourself: change the oil & filter, front and rear diff, air and cabin filter, rotate your tires, change your wiper blades, lube your yoke shaft.

Make a couple weekends out of it and take your time.

Transmission & radiator fluid, and spark plugs should be fine to at least 60,000.

I change my oil every 5000 miles. My jeep (off road only) has not had the oil changed since May 2008.

Go by the mileage....you will be fine.
