Are you seeing any damage to the sidewall due to the rubbing? I recall someone on the forum posting a picture of their sidewall ripped up after installing new tires and the UCA rubbing.

Nope no damage..but I'm running **** cepek mud country tires and they have thick side lugs which may also be why I'm rubbing. I believe if you ran an all terrain that there would little to no rubbing issues

For those of you running 35's did you find that the tires rub the UCA's running stock UCA's without spacers?

Had a buddy that ran 285's and they rubbed a little without a spacer. If you run the right offset rim and tire you can get away without rubbing and no spacer.

If you go to 285s or bigger, you should expect rubbing on the UCAs.
So... if you lift, expect to buy rims with at least -4-4.5in of offset.
ProComp makes a good cheap wheeling rim, I believe it is the 98series, and they are about $75-80 a pop.

Spacers are trash IMO, I would forgo that route if possible.

i have 35" 12.5" with no rubbing. side jugs and all and no spacers, bought the rims to fit the tires, -12mm off set. running 33" no problem either. still nice play way gap. getting the rims for the tires and not spacers are probably better but each is own.

btw ryan i have a set of spacers on my red truck(i need them) but you can come over and check the fit with them, i think one set is 1" and the other is 1.25 or its a 1.25" and 1.5" set up that i have... either way we can check the fit on your runner. i need to swap them on my truck anyways so they have to come off.... its wider in the rear, and i want the wider track in the front.

I may do that once I get the tires.
