31's with or without lift

I bought my 88 4runner with 2inch lift blocks in the rear and worn out 31's on it and it looks to me like the lift is too much, I am looking to buy new tires and just wanted to see if others are running 31's with or without a lift. I am not wanting to go to a much taller tire because my 4runner has the 22re and I don't want to lose anymore power or have to regear. I was also considering 30x9.5 BF AT's, but not sure how it will look (without the lift of course) so if anyone has pics of this size on the 4runner I would like to see them, thanks!

I run 30x9.50's everyday on the street. It rides well. It's a good match for the 4.30 gears and 22re. I also have bj spacers and 2" rear blocks.
For the trail, however, I run 34x9.50s, no rub issues.
If I were to have just a single tire size for street and trail, I would look at some 31's or maybe even a 235-85-16

i run 31X10.50 goodyear wanglers with stock suspension, they do fine, they only thing i notice if the wheel is cracked all the way over they sometimes rub the mud flaps and squeak when backing up. but its not bad.
