32's Need Regeared?

Thinking about doing the Daystar 2.5/1.5 deal and adding some 32" BFGs. I really don't feel like regearing though. I've heard that it's possible to run 32's with stock gears but I'm wondering what kind of performance I'll get out of that.

Anyone here running 32's with stock gears (auto)?

Nope. You're good. I have them and haven't regeared. I'm about to go to 35s and no real need to regear even with those. A lot do and I probably will too but no real need.
 
Thanks for the replies. My stock tires right now I think are 29.5" so for some reason I thought going up over 2" might cause some problems.

Right now it's got General Grabbers 265/65/17 which I thought were about 29.5". As I look a little more on the internet they might be 30.5"? Not really sure, either way wanted to make sure I wouldn't have to regear for 265/70/17 BFG AT KO's.

Thanks, I don't have a huge collection but I have a 19 and a 26. My favorite though is my Benelli Supernova.

Not really set on them, just a lot of people in my family have run them for years and liked them a lot. I'm definitely open to other suggestions though. I'm also wondering how the Grabbers would look with that lift, not sure if I sure wait and do it all at once, or get the lift first then the tires later. Leaning towards doing it all at once.

The final thing I'm wondering about is recalibrating the speedometer. Is it expensive?

The reason you regear is not for your speedometer. It is for getting the proper amount of torque to move bigger tires and ability to reach proper speed. Recalibrating your speedometer is helpful, but not the reason to regear.
 
thats a given, but the average person first thinks about the speedo being off not the torque change, thats why i posted that, still, theres no big reason to regear with only 1 size up tire increase, plenty on this forum & 120 use that size & find theres no reason to regear, after 33s sure. i bet it would be real hard to find anyone on here that has done it for such small tire difference. but hey, if a person wants to spend over a grand to have it done, go ahead.

Sorry guys, I'm pretty new to this. It'll be the first car I've ever modded from stock minus installing stereo systems. I was just curious if I needed to regear so it wouldn't be slow as hell trying to pull out of stoplights. As far as getting the speedometer recalibrated, I just wondered how much it costs because I'm a little anal about the small details. Worst case scenario my GPS also reports my speed.
