After changing all my suspension and lc coils in the rear being one of them the 285's were looking small and it was killing me. 315 MTZ are the answer! Right now im waiting on my wheel spacers to come in. Heres a little preview of the 35's on my kinda new 5 star rims which I LOVE. Rear bumper is in progress and should be done soon same with gears..

what gears are you planning on running? Are you going to run stock gears with these at all before re-gearing?
 
Snowrunner-thanks, ive thought about it and ive found a pretty good deal on 4.56. I think 4.88 would be nice but im going with 4.56. I am going to run the, without regearin at all for a little until the gears come in. I just started college so Im not driving that much anyways. Just aroud town.

Crackiswack/CSL_ Yes there on the 7'' rims and they crown less then my 285 nittos did. Im not worried about it at all. Theres been a few people do it with no trouble at all.

Liny-Will do. I cant wait to get them put on! I miss my runner.

I could show you 10% of the ones running 33s that could rock the stuffing out of 90% of those running 35s on the trail. its funny but when it comes to cosmetics 35s is a big choice here.

I was more or less being sarcastic with the title.I know there's some bad rigs on 33's. I mainly get on ttora and Ive seen some lc and tacos do some suprising stuff on 33's but like I said now that I have the lc coils in the back and the 285 looked small to me.

If it were me, I'd run at least a 4.88 (if not more) w/a 35" tire. Most guys I know run a 4.56 w/ 33s and 4.88s or higher w/ 35s. Even seen once guy recently who's running a 5.29 gear on his '00 4R w/ 33s.

Any special reason why you want 4.56s vs 4.88s? Going from a 4.10 to a 4.56 is not that big of jump, yet going from a 31" tire to a 35" is.
 
Hoenstly I'd love 4.88 but I've found a real good deal on 4.56 that I don't think I can pass up. There Yukon gears already set up and I'm getting em cheaper then I can just buy the gears for. So basically set up for free.

Oh of course..285 is a 33 to everyone till I call it a name haha. Im just jokin wit everyone. They just looked small to me so I wanted to upgrade. I cant decide if im going to need bodylift or not. I have them mounted in the back and they are fine but not sure about the front..

Thanks, I cant wait either. The runner is just staying parked at my moms house now. Im having to drive her malibu so im ready to get back in the runner. Ill be sure to post up some pics as soon as I get them on.
 
Here are a couple more pics. One of them waiting to be mounted and then one of how my dads car looked when we got all he tires in there lol. We had 4 35's in the back of a buick. IT WAS PACKED!

I think its cause after 33's you have to re-gear
 
Elton... 285 is considered a 33 becasue most of them are 32.8 or 32.9 inches. As with even the true 33.12.50 15 actual circumference is 32.8 or 32.9 very few are more then that however a couple are 33.2 inches. Just like a 265/75 is considered a 32 even though it is 31.8 inches. Does 1 or 2 tenths really make a difference? That is why they are called 33's.

Haddix- I would recommend the 4.88 or 5.29's with the 35's but I really do understand taking advantage of a sweet deal on the 4.56. If they werent already set up was going to say Pricing from local shops there was no difference for just the gears between 4.56 or 4.88. Glad you found a deal though.
 
Yeah my top choice would be 4.88 but like I said I dot think I could pass up the deal. If I were buying them and having them set up myself it would be 4.88.
