I may be able to get a line on 3D printed cup holders for us 4th gens, but I need to know the following first...

I tried searching, but couldn't find answers.

1. Are all 4th gen cup holders the same? Even Trail Editions?

2. Can the center console be taken apart and the cup holder section removed separately?

Just to clear the air here, these cupholders are still in development. I do understand that the wait has been longer than expected. However, as a full-time student who lives a good distance away from home, I have very limited access to my design software and printing hardware. During these away periods, I am still testing the prototypes every chance I get so that I am able to improve the compatibility and usability of my design in an iterative manner.

That being said, IF anyone is able to come up with a better, cheaper alternative to my design then, by all means, they should go for it. After all, competition drives innovation... as long a the competition doesn't get greedy. Any member who has frequented this forum for a while knows what I'm talking about.

• Added clearance for mug handles
• Designed an optional insert that will better fit small bottles and cups (16oz water bottles especially)

Count me in for one! The dealer gave me the insert as it was missing in mine when I purchased, but it is garbage. Keep it up TiN and hope to see some for sale once development is complete.
