Man, all you guys just need to start using Nalgene bottles... they fit perfect in the factory cup holders! I was SO STOKED to finally find a cup holder that would hold those huge bottles when I bought my 4th gen... LOL

Awesome work on these cup holders though, it is quite annoying to put anything other than a Nalgene in there!

Also 32 oz Gatorade bottles fit well in the stock cup holders. It boggles my mind that a standard soda can doesn't fit. :wtf:

I'm definitely interested in purshacing one as well. I had the same problem in my Rav4 I cut up 20 oz cups and screwed them down. They worked too well they wouldn't give the cups back.

With my current prototype (that's now well over a month old) the can sits a little crooked as it doesn't fully seat in the secondary ring. The whole purpose of the secondary ring was to support 12oz cans, so this is one of the things I'll be tweaking for the next version.

Yeah, the center section of the current prototype is completely hollow underneath. Using it as a secret compartment is definitely possible

The semester is over a month from today, so I'll be back in the design grind by early December. Hope to have a new version of my cupholder printed out around that time :surfer:
