3gen cbi hybrid service?

I know there plenty of talk about CBI hybrid swing out doesn't need to be service. But my hybrid cbi swing arm start to stop right before it latch at the stopping pin. Anyone remove for service or gease swing pin? I may have to contact CBI tomorrow.

I took mine off once to grease it when it started to stiffen up. Then it never happened again. That was several years ago. It wasn't fun taking it off and on at the time, that's for sure! LOL

Take everything off of it (jerry can rack, tire rack), remove the set screw....

Myself and a buddy, swearing, getting mad, feeling like I was ready to rip it off the damn truck!!!!

Really though, it needs to be kept as level as you can so it doesn't bind up. A second set of hands helps. If you can slide it up some, then grease the shaft. Slide it back down and swing it back and forth. Slide it up a bit further. It was a real *****. I couldn't get it back on afterwards either. I took a file and cleaned up the edge to help get it started. I wished there was a grease zert and splines on the inside so all that needed to be done was a shot of grease every once in a while.
