I was thinking of getting one, but then I got a rock chip like the first week, so no..

But after a while, they seem to yellow, and I've seen some cars with it off after a few years, and the paint has yellowed. weird, because you'd think that the paint under would fade the same since the material is clear, but..

I dunno, we'll see.. My mom's Pilot has it, and hopefully it doesn't yellow like I've seen other cars do. We had it on our Odyssey too, and it was fine, after about 20 months of owning it, it didn't look as if it were yellowing..

it's a good option though, applies clear, barely noticable.. provides the protection while keeping the look of the car.. doesn't add to vibration if it isn't installed properly, and it doesn't add to a loss in gas mileage..

Sounds like a good idea, but there’s got to be a reason why vehicles do not come with it from the factory. My 4runner is just over a year old now, with three flying pebble marks on her. Every time I wash it I cringe & hope to not discover any more.
I have a basketball system that blew over during a storm. I drained half the water out of the base, so when it freezes it has room to expand. Well it fell on the hood of my older Jeep GC. It put a six in diameter dent on her. That was completely my fault. Gives the Jeep character.
