anyone have any idea how to get into that thing? I bought the bulbs, but I have no idea how to get behind that spoiler to undo the screws? Anyone know what works?

Does your 4Runner have a port installed spoiler, meaning you have a 3rd brake light on the hatch? If so, the 3rd brake light just pries off from the hatch.
The spoiler's 3rd brake light should be LED. To get to those screws on the back of the spoiler get angle screwdriver.
