I recently bought an IFS skid from Ryan, great service fast shipping, quality skid. I have a CBI front tube bumper so I have to grind the front mounts down, just fyi.

I like the Budbuilts I really do, I had one on my 86 T4R. With that being said, the Budbuilt for the 96-02 4Runners does not have a hole to drain the oil, whereas this one does.

I'd buy this over the Budbuilt.

It doesn't, but that's where it offers more protection , what if just if a big rock got stuck in that hole ? Bent the oil pan? I'm sure you'll be taking the plate of for oil changes anyways, as it is 100 times easier and easier to get to the filter. But this is just my opinion. I guess I wouldnt mind buying it if it was cheaper. Since it's so close to the same price as brand name. Well.... Think we both know

Personally I don't care if it's a "brand name" aftermarket product. I am after something that works and at a competitive price.

Plus if I can save a few bucks to get something that works the same, why spend more money?

Now I have a question, does your skids offer the same coverage as the BB design? I especially like how the BB front skid offers some front protection of the LCA mount. And how far back does your skid package go compared to BB?

This isn't where you share your opinion, this isn't a discussion thread. Its a sale ad. Price is competitive for sure, have you priced steel lately? There is a reason you dont see a large price gap in fabricated steel armor, it takes time, talent, and tools. Go educate yourself on the MANY people already running these skids on Tacos and 4Rs before you try and point out a hypothetical flaw in the dude's thread.

Budbuilt started out as a non-name brand once before. Props to the OP for making his own version for the public to purchase.

Don't forget shipping is included which is $45-50 depending where it's going. It doesn't vary much so I listed the shipped price. It's 60 pounds so shipping isn't cheap. I don't get a huge discount like budbuilt probably does.

just here seeing if you could consider selling me a set for 260.00 shipped? if so, ill take a set in about 10 days. waiting on my tax to arrive. they look good to me for sure. i don't care for all that name brand cutout stuff either. i just want protection from any rocks jabbing my oil pan and damaging other areas. pm me if we can work something out. i will be a serious buyer with no BS to deal with.

all i care about is quality and they do what they are designed for and seems like that from the pics!
