I picked up a 2000 4R and discovered it has an Autopage RS-610 system in it. I have been able to program a transmitter for it, and can lock and unlock doors and remote start - sort of (more below).
Question: This 4R model has the extremely annoying feature of locking the doors when the key is turned on. Is this related in any way to the Autopage system? Can it be turned off?
Question: Does anyone have the Autopage RS-610 installation manual? There are some things I need to explore, for instance, the lights stay on after a remote start - and drain the battery - great!. If the car is warm the remote start fires up the engine and it runs for about 30 seconds, then shuts off. After a brief delay the car starts again and the whole sequence repeats. I'm thinking maybe the rpm is low when the car is warm and it is below some RS-610 threshold?
