3rd gen antirock sway bars?!

Has anyone else seen this on OptOffroad yet? In the 3rd gen second on the 13th page there's a listing for "Jhonny Joints, Antirock sway bars, deflators, and more" I was scrolling thru the 3rd gen page one day and saw at the end that listing. I got really excited seeing anti rock sway bars on there. I know I wouldn't be the only one who would be stoked for anti rocks on my 3rd gen 4runner! Would be absolutely awesome. Am I just tripping but i'm sure the point of that listing is to show stuff that Jason is going to be adding to the website... like stuff to come. What do you guys think?

I don't know if I'm ready for more body roll on the street. I like how I can throw mine into high-speed asphalt corners like a rally buggy, TBH. I'm probably not the customer they have in mind, but I have bought lots of stuff from Jason and support his business.

I remember someone made them for our vehicles, so it could possibly be an old product listing they didn't fully remove from the site. Been a few years but I definitely remember seeing them somewhere, and I remember a user or two running them here and there
That said, I still have no f*ckin clue how they work as opposed to a normal sway bar. Like I get they rely on a big ass torsion bar, and I've seen plenty of pictures/videos of them working pretty impressively... but I just don't get how they work any differently and how they keep bodies so straight when crawling :shrug:

Haha before I took out my front sway bar and I was on the stock suspension I definitely enjoyed the rally car-ish cornering but now with a full king 2.5 setup and no front sway bar it's no canyon carver, as if it was before haha.

Well typically for our toyota trucks when you lift them and put different suspension on you are going to need longer sway bar links to compensate for the lift so they aren't at a crazy angle and also so they aren't limiting your suspension travel. The idea is that the antirock sway bar is a regular sway bar but with off roading in mind, so you still get less body roll but not at the sacrifice of offroad performance. I have no idea how they work either lol but they do and seems like they do well.
 
My WAG would be lower torque at deflection on that bar than stock.
It does say there will be increase body roll.

I snapped my sway bar so now I just use limit straps to keep it all together....and I overall drive pretty slow...how slow you ask?
I have a Slow Moving Vehicle Safety sign bolted to my rear bumper....I stole the idea from them Amish folks

They are exactly the same as normal swaybars... The only 'upgrade' there is that they can handle more suspension travel and can be tuned more easily.

This is an issue on solid axles - the springs are mounted inboard from the wheels, so the roll rate of the suspension is lower than the wheel rate - which leads to excessive body lean (or articulation, depending on what exactly is happening at the time). Maximum use of travel with the least body roll happens when you add back the right amount of roll stiffness to match the wheel rate.

On a 3rd gen 4runner, this can be achieved by removing the front swaybar and keeping the rear (factory) swaybar - unless you have changed the rear geometry. (the front IFS has a matched wheel rate and roll rate when there is no swaybar)
