3rd gen Certifit sport hood?

Found a local guy, has a Certifit sport hood WITH insert for 200$. Not painted but brand new..is this a good deal? I'm a little worried about how the fit will be. My experience with aftermarket body panels is they fit poorly.

I have one, hood & insert cost $250 new, fit is ok, not perfect, metal is thinner. Depending where you live aftermarket panels rust faster.

my certifit hood was $97 from them direct in San Diego a couple weeks ago. Im using an existing insert though.

They are not bad for the price.

Having said that, I picked up an original OEM hood and scoop in perfect condition for $200.

They come up more often than you would think...

they do come up, but finding one the same color a person may need is harder. i don't want to spend another hundred or two to have one painted.

Sport hood yes please.....

I've been looking for quite a while for one but so far no joy. I've actively posted WTB here in Classifides and on Craigslist. I received one reply from the T4R classy post but the guy was labeled as 'banned' so I didn't reply. I called on a salvage vehicle post I saw but the guy said the hood was the first thing to sell. I'm in the SF Bay Area and if anyone here has one they don't need and would consider selling to me I'd be most grateful. I'm the original owner of my Runner and it's in pretty stellar condition so you can be assured I'd wear it proud.
