Got a 98 4runner and was considering taking off my upper rails/fender aprons and fabricating up new rails and aprons out of tubing and sheet metal. Would design it to allow for lots of wheel travel up and to clear larger tires. The new rails would weld into the existing core support sp would keep fender mounts. I had a damage upper rail and once I removed it got this idea.
