Santa brought me a new to me 97 Limited with 110k on the clock, and a new bird dog.

Just had the lift gate struts rebuilt by StrutWise in BC ,CA. They work great and the lift gate no longer falls back down in the cold. I might have about $150.00 in to them with the rebuild and shipping. Santa came early!

For Xmas, my 4runner gets a new CBI Hybrid front bumper...should be done and ready to ship the end of this week.
I also just bought all new LEDs to swap out the interior and exterior.

I haven't been able to tell how naughty or nice I want to be yet...but the URD 7th injector is currently on the list.
Only way I will be getting that is if I pull some extremely naughty sh*t.

probably gonna pick up a MKIII turbo rear diff and put it in my runner. untill i can get some ARBs... -just found out a friend of mine has a full rear end/subframe sitting in his barn... :hungry:

Seeing as it's more or less the one month anniversary of owning my first 4runner as well as Christmas, I'll probably fail to hold off the mod bug and get a trans cooler, and redo the LBJ's. If I really get motivated I'll do the satoshi grill mod too.

Cheap Christmas for a college student.

Poor college student home for break, won't see my 4Runner until next year.

With that being said, I have goodies that I want to install, but can't until next summer... for Christmas, I'm too cash strapped to get anything...

So I'm gonna keep putting gas in it, change the oil, and drive it. I'm happy.

Well apparently there's a junkyard near me that got 4 3rd gens in and they have a 50% sale going the 28th.....I have no idea but on the wish list are some limited fender flares, roof rack rails, sport hood?, I dunno...maybe she tundra brakes and looking around to pick some other parts up.

Based on my build progress so far, it's been Christmas everyday for the last 7 months. Love my new to me 97 4runner project. Latest purchase though is new Toyota lower control arms up front so I guess that will be mine.

On the wish list are still quite a few things like upper control arms, rear control arms, skid plates, lights, on board air, etc, but most will have to wait.
