3rd Gen Flush Mounted "Satoshi Style" Grilles

3rd GEN FLUSH MOUNTED "SATOSHI STYLE" GRILLES

As the title states, I’ve decided to start building flush mounted “Satotshi Style” grilles. These grilles are a little different from the original Satoashi grille as the mesh is mounted to the front of the grille, instead of the rear. I personally like the look a lot more as it gives the front end a lot flusher look. I have come up with multiple options you can choose from to make the grille fit your style. Below are a few pictures and pricing.

I think so many people are creating threads where grill is described as Satoshi that the original meaning is getting lost on new members.

I have seen you mention this before, that is is why I said "Satoshi Style" as this style grille is what many think of when they see that name. There is a option to get the TOYOTA logo with the grille, but I understand it would never be a true Satoshi grille. Just was trying to make it easy for people to put a picture of the grille in their mind when they see the title.

The history... Originally Satoshi style was from a user named Satoshi on YotaTech who had the TOYOTA logo and was the first guy to mainstream it. For years and years it was clear but then with the start of some of these "post your Satoshi grill" picture threads countless people just posted cool grills and it lost it's meaning for new members.

Any grill a customer chooses will be good, a personal choice of course.

This is just what the doctor ordered! These look great, and I'm digging the flush mesh! I'm very interested and am putting together the options now. I do have a few questions:

1.) What's the difference between the regular mesh and the upgraded mesh?

2.) Just to be clear, I don't have to send my old grill to you if I'm getting an aftermarket one?

3.) Does the aftermarket grill come with the attachment clips?

Here's what I've worked up so far. I guess the price will depend on the mesh options and OEM color match to my black 97 limited. I think I have some touchup paint so I can get that color code number if you need it.

Answer to your questions:

1. Upgraded mesh just means that if you find a different style mesh that you like better than the base mesh, I can go ahead and use that mesh on your grille. The price increase is only if the mesh you choose is more then the cost of the base mesh.

2. Correct, you can keep your current grille

3. The grille will come ready to be installed, just pop the old one out and install the new one. There would only be extra installation if you choose a lighting option. Then you would have to wire in the lighting how you wanted. They would already be installed on the grille though.

I'll go ahead and PM you your final price.

I found a place were I could purchase the lettering. The lettering will be considered a "Emblem" option for $65 (unpainted). You can opt for them to be powder coated for an additional $25 (Total $90).
