Not 100% sure. I do know that this one has the mounting holes for the 4runner emblem where as the 01 wouldn't. On my "new" surround I filled the holes with JB weld and sanded them smooth; can't tell the holes were ever there. Maybe someone else can chime in?
 
Will these work on a 1999 Limited? If so, I'll take them.

They will fit no problem, but if the truck has '99 talls in the front, these rears will be lower.

They are the replacements from the recall work that the previous owner had done. That said, I don't know how many miles are on these coils. Check out my photo album; there are a few pics of how it sat before I installed the lift.
