3rd gen hood purchase...

This may be a stupid question, but I recently had a 96 4runner passed down to me by my father due to a small fender bender. I found a 99 hood in the color I need about an hour an 45 mins away from me. First off, will the 99 hood fit my 96? Also, does anyone think the hood will fit inside an 02 WRX wagon? Gotta get it home some how. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

yes and yes, the hood will fit, its all interchangable from 96-02, bumpers and interior trim and a few other odds and ins are the only differances but even they can be fitted to earlier or later models depending on the case. yes the hood will fit in side a wrx wagon, just turn it side ways and lay down the back seats and put it in there
