3rd gen rear abs sensors

I was never prewired for a locker. All i did was make my own harness for the locker and ran it as a separate harness. The ABS harness only got cut out from under the truck. Section from the sensor. The driver side plug is there, the long half of the harness is cut of along with the connector.

Is the part# you gave me, will that harness work for 97 ? i dont mind splicing it.

Yes, '97 Auto V6 4x4 returns the same number. I'd be a little hesitant on the splice if I could avoid it as this is a signal wire, not just a 12V connection. it's a pulse voltage of only a few volts and any excess resistance or leakage could be problematic. If no choice and your skills are good, then go with it.

I had a broken shock shear my rear passenger side ABS harness. A new harness was a stupid high price so I just solder spliced and meticulously shrink tubed individual wires then top layer shrink tubed them together. Works fine, the splice will never fail. Far as I remember its just 2 wires that go to each sensor, so its easy enough to wire.
I've got a parts rig rust pig, easy open view underneath on blocks with rearend pulled out if you need pics or a section of harness other than where I clipped it to remove the rearend.

Thank you [MENTION=10169]TheDurk[/MENTION] for your info and help. I ordered the harness you provided. I’ll see how it once I get it. And come back with the results. Hopefully rewriting the rear ABS sensors will give me my Speedo back. Have no idea why the front ones stopped working.

Do you have an ABS light? Did you try resetting the ABS module?

Do not have the bulb installed ): how do i go about resetting it? funny thing, drove it around today little faster. the speedo is very very jerky. jumps from 0-40pmh... stays jumps around. Has a really hard time staying at my speed. Then when slowing down it just drops to 0 rather than descending

Try resetting it. Nothing. Didn’t even attempt to pull the codes because I can guarantee it will be both front and rear low voltage BS. I absolutely have no idea why the front ones died. Even after replacing them. Or why the back ones won’t rear correctly after installing everything. Tacoma transfercase speed sensor it is. !
