3rd Gen Rear Bumpers

I"m new to this forum in fact I just learned about it yesterday from a guy when he chased me down asking where I got my rear bumper. I've got a 96 runner with custom bumpers that I have fabricated and am considering bringing to market. The first would be the rear as my current design is a bolt on design. Any interest? I'm in Moab for EJS 2011 so my responce will be slow this week. When it stops raining I'll take a picture or two.

Cool!

I know you said you are in Moab now, but where are you officially located? I'm sure there will be interest... but I'm sure I won't be the only one to ask for PICTURES!!!

how bout just a simple bumper for armor thats not all intense w design (aka EXPENSIVE). cheap, light, plate bumper. you can always do upgrade accessories for those who want them

Mine was $80 in material and weighs about 50 LBS.

I agree with the light and simple design. Would i pull a 5000 lb trailer with my bumper... HECK NO but it works just fine for wheeling

It is going to be hilarious if this turns out to be someone on this board just trying to get a rise out of people.

"Hey I have an amazing product but can't show you for a week"

Hey Jtree just a heads up this group can be a rough crowd, LOL especially when it comes to new products or mods without pics to prove!

What I want to know is, who was out in moab and chased you down and told you about this site?

Welcome to a great community!

A guy from Salt Lake told me about this site. It is late I'm not sure how to post picts from my comp and not from a url. For now pm me if you are serious and I will gladly email you picts. Or if you are around Moab do the same.

By the way it is a plate bumper. I'm looking for feed back not smart comments. My philosophy is light but strong. However if some want heavy it will cost more. I don't want to waiste anybodies time...I also be waisting mine if I don't get picts soon of my proto type.
Thanks!

Not trying to steal your glory cj80. I was sitting around in class this morning and had some time to kill.

Looks good. I like how it is ramped from the frame and the rear edge. Tucked in tight. I still drag mine and would like it tucked. It also makes a nice ramp for cars to slide under. I had a car slide under mine almost to their windshield when they rearended me.

Do you have any body contact with it on big flex obstacles? I have seen gaps as big as 1/2"+ actually make contact.

And let me be the first to say it looks damn good. ill defitnatly be in line to order one.

great looking bumper man.

No glory stolen. He emailed me and said he couldn't upload the pics to email me and that he was able to send pics to Driffter 33 and someone else....guess you were that someone else. I was just waiting on the pics.
