3rd Gen Relentless Fab Bumpers

I'm thinking about getting a Relentless Fab front bumper, but the website doesn't have very good pictures. Any of you 3rd gen owners with Relentless Fab, post up some pictures!

Here's a few. It's the Predator. I picked it up during there Thanksgiving Day sale. I was quoted 8 weeks production time. It was finally done after 14 weeks. I picked it up and went to install it only to find out the notch for the AC was on the wrong side. After talking with them they said they'd never had that problem before. The bumper gap was also larger on one side then the other initially. I ended up having to jack up my rig and place a jack stand under the bumper to get it aligned correctly. Doing this bent the bottom l bracket enough to close the distance to 5/8" all the way around. I was asked to send an email with some photos, which I did. I never received a response.

It's a quality bumper other than those issues. My guess is that whoever bent the piece with the AC notch prior to welding bent it backwards. It's a mistake anyone could make. I didn't catch it till after I went to put the bumper on. Overall I'm happy with the bumper and how it looks and functions once I got those issues sorted out. It would have been nice to here back from Relentless though.

For a product that costs upwards of $1000, it damn well should fit right the first time without modification or they should at least get back to you about it. Anyways, not to hijack the thread, but what are those amber lights you installed in the little piece under the headlights? I kinda like the look but what do they look like in the dark when they are on?

There aren't many out there and that is also part of the fitment issue. It's a new product and the front ends are different among the 3rd gens, so there might be some fitment issues untill they get some more done. Also he makes a great product, but keep in mind their wait times are very long, some people waiting 6 months, so don't expect it right away or with a very accurate timeframe. Just something you have to know going in. I hate seeing threads of people bashing companies that they know take FOREVER and have horrible communication, but expect their item/experience to be different.

Those are some LEDs off of amazon. I have them wired to my turn signals so the only time there on is when my blinker is on. Install was super easy. 3/4" hole saw bit and some silicon.

I am relating MY experience with them. I hadn't heard of there time frames being bad.
Now I know for personal experience that there lead time quotes are a joke. When I spoke with him on the phone Eric said they'd done a lot of other 3rd gen bumpers that didn't have this issue. All my research has proved that ALL 3rd gens have the AC line on the drivers side. Like I said, someone bent that piece backwards. If I wanted to bash them I would have done so. I let it slide. That bumpers been on for months and I never started a thread about the issues or posted about it in there vendor thread.

I don't think highly inaccurate wait time estimates or horrible communication should ever be acceptable just because a company is known to do that as common practice. Though I do agree that if its a well known thing, people should be prepared for that when they give said company their money.
