3rd Gen snorkel for $235

So I've been looking at the ARB snorkel and i stumbled upon this website in Australia. They have a Prado 5VZ-FE with the right hand airbox for $235. The website says it's a made in china non- Airflow snorkel but for someone looking for the looks of a snorkel here is a cheap was to go. I'm not sure I would want to test its snorkel capabilities but I guess it's possible to waterproof the fittings so they won't leak. What do you guys think?

shipping is $85. it would be better to buy the one they have here for $315
