3rd gen speakers in back seats

I have an extra pair of 6.5" speakers and would like to put them in the doors in the back row. Are those 5.5 or 6.5 speakers in the back?

I'm sure you could make it fit but I doubt its worth the effort. From the factory there are little 4" speakers but you can easily make or buy adapter plates to fit a 5.25" speaker.

It is definitely possible to fit a 6.5 back there. You have to remove the plastic "surround" and get a spacer to keep the magnet from hitting the window. But it is possible to fit a 6.5 in the rear doors.

6.5" is possible...used to have them on my 3rd gen.

What kind of 6.5 inches are you thinking about putting in the back? If you have the Intermount III rings from either Infinity or JBL (same company), they will almost drop right in with a little bit of insulation around the edges

I've heard the 6.5s can interfere with the rear window not going down all the way.
I have Kicker KS series components (6" up front and 5.25" in the rear) ready to be installed once I get some time and I'll post up some pics.
