3rd Gen squeaky charcoal canister.

I have a 97 4Runner SR5 4WD with the 3.4L v6 (5VZ-FE)engine. When the vehicle is on it eventually starts making a squeaking sound that kind of sounds like a turkey call (only slightly higher pitched). It sounds like something spinning because it speeds up when I accelerate (it is not constant, more of a "wobble" sound). I popped the hood the last couple times it has been doing it and I think I have located it to the little "knobs" on top of the charcoal canister (or possibly inside the canister itself) because I can feel the unit vibrating when the squeak is "wobbling." I am posting this in both the 3rd Gen forum and the problems/warranty forum to hopefully increase my feedback. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also, my power antenna went out a out a year ago, it still makes the noise like the gears are running to raise/lower the antenna, it just doesn't move, anybody know if this is an easy fix?

Thanks again!

the canister squeak i've never heard of they do make a humming sound.i have a 96 sr5 v6 and she makes this noise .the power antenna is an easy fix.you have to pull the mast out, chances are the plastic teeth on the mast are stripped, replacement masts are approx 30 dollars

Yeah, I've hear of the humming/buzzing sound when the vehicle is off, it is definitely not that. It's a squeak that kind of sounds like a squeaky wheel by the way it "wobbles" and speeds up as I accelerate (it is almost constant when I am around 15 mph)
