3rd Gen Sunroof Question

Hi everyone,

I'm a new T4R owner and I was wondering if everyone else's sunroof acts the same....

When I close the sunroof from being fully open and slid back, if I hold the button to close the roof, it stops half way. Then I have to let go of the button and press it again to get it to close the whole way....??

This is the first sunroof that I have owned that functions this way.

Question is, is this normal?

Any help would be great!

Yeah, It's normal. It's supposed to be a safety feature. You can disable it. Check the link in my sig for how to disable it.

Yep. It's a safety measure so you won't close your fingers, hands, arm etc etc in the sunroof. It is annoying. There are ways to bypass it and it was recently discussed on this forum. If you do a search, I'm sure it will pop up fairly easily.

Its annoying I know. Not only for me but my wife too. Will be doing this mod and the deckplate mod when I get a free day.
