I posted a thread a while back when I had recently totaled my 4Runner, other person was at fault to insurance paid all damages and such. As much as I love Toyota, and especially my 4Runner I knew a 4Runner wasn't practical for me. I really had been needing a full size pickup to haul a 16ft flatbed and a horse trailer. So in comes the new to me 2008 Silverado Texas Edition 5.3 w/ limited slip rear diff and trans cooler with 72,000 miles got it for $16,000 which I think was pretty fair. I looked into Tacomas but they hold their value damn good and even then I'm not sure the 4.0 could safely handle the trailers. Tundras are also a real pretty penny, only ones I found within the same price range were double cabs and had 120,000+ miles on them. My dad has always owned GM and Toyota vehicles and we have never had any major issues with either make so I feel confident that this Chevy won't let me down. Once I graduate college I plan on finding me another 3rd gen and hopefully build it cause lets be honest, they're the best looking 4Runners to date :wink2:

I'll still be hanging around just cause I love this forum and I enjoy helping where I can. I've learned so much on here it's crazy and I'd like to thank all the guys who have helped me along the way. Plus the GM pickup forums are full of a bunch of bros.
