3rd gen UBJ suggestions?

I haven't been able to find much about Upper Ball Joints, just lower. I need to cut my upper ball joints off to remove my spindle to have my LBJ bolts drilled out. I broke off 3 of the 8. My lifting process has been a nightmare (Ohio rust belt). So I need to replace my uppers, i was looking at MOOGS on Rockauto but that will still set me back $60.

Has had any luck with other aftermarket uppers?

The concensus around here is, go oem or you will be doing it again very soon. I agree with oem.

I have OEM LOWER ball joints to install but I've read that uppers aren't as big of a deal since they don't support the extreme load that lowers do.

I suggest OEM on any part or you will be doign them again very soon. If lifted you really want to go OEM since it causes an angle at the UBJ. That being said I had an OEM loosen up after about 10k miles once. OEM's are cheap anyways. Like $40 each.
