What’s a good brand bumper, or brush guard that has a winch, or is winch ready, that’s not insanely expensive?
Just bought a 2001 4runner on 33’s
3 inch rough country lift.
Looking to learn, and do a lot more to this 4Runner!

Cheap and easy way is buying a winch plate and welding it to the front frame rails I have a winch and plate still in my garage I have yet to mock up and weld..Crazy how fast time goes. I would get rid of the rough country lift if your gonna add weight to the front. If not definitely upgrade your spring weight for the added weight. Theirs plenty of write ups and threads on different setups. Go with a good Bilstein/OME/toytech setup. You cant just throw weight on the front and expect it to all be good it's a lot of stress and strain on your front end suspension especially your LBJ's!

Don't know if I'll mount a winch or not, but the 4XInnovations bumpers are super strong and winch ready. They have many mounting points, but they are expensive at about $800 + shipping and are bare steel so you would have to decide what you want to coat them with right away to avoid rust. I powder coated mine, but now kinda wish I bed-lined them.

The world is your oyster for winch bumpers, but most will run you 7 or 8 hundred plus possible extra for shipping/finish. very happy with my 4xinnovations setup. But cheaper, yeah, weld up a nice mounting bracket or even a front hitch tube. Good luck!
