3rd generation newcomer...aka greetings from Oregon

Coming from 3 second generation 4runners, and a first generation, I've decided to stop lurking and register. Here is my 97, complete with interesting yellow color the PO decided to paint over the factory green. It's a 3RZ 4x4 auto, and in the 200k mile range.

Welcome. I'd call that color "Military White". For some reason they think that the spaghetti color is "white"

Nice, I am on the westside. And I've taken the Runner up on a couple of trails so far. What I am amazed by is how refined it is, and smooth it is, compared to my older 4runners and my FJ80 Landcruiser.

The truck was in pretty rough shape when I got it, so far I've put in '99 limited seats and done some major cleaning(it's an ex-contractors vehicle, much paint all over the interior). I enjoy putting it together, now just looking for front carpet, a better center console and a roof rack. Down the road, I'd like all the '99 plus goodies and a rear locker.

Also, I am curious if anyone knows how many 3rd gen 3rz 4x4 autos were produced? Seems a bit rare.
