3rd Row Seat Pics Needed

If anyone has any pictures of their 4runner's 3rd row seat and how much room is behind it please post them for me. We're thinking of trading in ours for one with a 3rd row and would like to see how it looks. Also if you have an opinion about them (the 3rd seat) I'd like to hear it. Thanks.

You should check out the Toyota website, they have a fancy pic. You can tell there is pretty much no room behind it. Well, you can probably put a slim suitcase upright and a couple bags.... Google search shows few companies comment about the 3rd row.... That's all the help I can give you, since I don't have a 3rd seat... Free Bump :)

PS. I would personally go to the dealer and check it out in 3D....

IMO, the third row seats are pointless. I have sat in one and i had to sit indian style. The third row IMO should only be for little children and animals. Now if it had a dip in the floor where i could put my feet, maybe it would be a good upgrade but to trade in your T4R just for third row, i dont think would be worth it unless you have children.

just my two cents.

I agree. The 3rd should be for kids or animals. A full size adult COULD ride in the back, if its a short trip. Mine stay folded up 99.9% of the time. I'll try to get some pics of mine this weekend and get them up for you.

Thanks for the help. I actually remembered to google images after I posted this and saw a few more things than the shot at the Toyota website. I had pretty much figured that the third row had no leg room, thanks for the conformation. I couldn't imagine where the leg room would come from.
Jeff, if you're able to get the pics up, I'd appreciate it. I thought about checking one out at the dealer but unless I'm going there to actually buy. I try avoid them. I hate the vulgers attacking. Thanks again.

Here's a pic of my Third row...I hope it shows since this is the first time I'm attaching a pic...I have 2 kids ages 8 and 4 and they love to sit in them but as other's have said, really not for adults. The third row seats go up when the Wife and I go food shopping etc.. and when I'm not using them, I keep them folded up. When we go on trips and stay over, we have luggage and stuff and I take the seats out to have the room to pack the truck.

Well the pic didn't show so I resized it to 1024X768 and see what happens..if it doesn't show this time, then i'll have to try to figure out how to do it. I go to attach file and then submit reply. If it doesn't work this time, can someone please tell my what the secret is?

Thanks!!

Space is really tight behind the third row. Maybe 1.5 feet on the floor behind the base of the seats and if the seat backs are reclined, it's literally just a few inches between the headrest and the rear glass. That said, we've managed to stuff quite a few duffle bags back there, a variety of strollers and even a 2-seater bike trailer for the kids.

We've had 2 4runners over the past 5 years (both with third rows) but our family of 5 has outgrown the truck. All 3 kids are still young and fit in the 3rd row fine when we have extra passengers, but we just bought a Sequoia and the increased cabin space makes for a dramatic improvement in comfort. I don't know what the max height is, but the manual does state the 3rd row in the 4runner is only for smaller riders.
