3rd row seat question

Hi -

I have a 2007 4runner Limited. Found matching third row seats on ebay, however am seeing conflicting info. I see the anchors for the third row seats currently in my 4runner, but do not currently have the third row seat belts. Some seem to say you can't install third row seats if third row seat belts aren't already installed/included. Can the seat belts be installed and if so how do I go about doing this?

Do you know for a FACT that your Runner came with them? Have any pics of them?

I remember seeing a thread pretty much outlining what you would need to install third row seats in a Runner that never came with them from the factory. It's a very expensive project and time consuming. There are (is) aftermarket companies that offer a third row (cheaper), so that could be an option for ya (if indeed yours never came with them). I suspect your didn't since you don't have seatbelt anchors.

The third row option includes the over head seatbelts and the pivot point in the side well area to lift and store the seats out of the way. The rear plastics are different from a model without third row. While it can be done, it will be time consuming to gather all of the needed components. If you car has a sunroof, you will have very limited headroom in the rear.

This is an excellent thread with part numbers from another forum. I would recommend that you order parts from one of the online discounters and leave the local dealer out (mine over charges by 30%). I've used ToyotaOverstock.com with good results.
