I was wondering if anybody is running that setup? If so how does it perform. Why im asking is i found a elocker axle and front diff with everything 1k.
You won't really notice a difference between 4.10, and 4.30's.
Well the E-locker is worth it, so just swap it all in including the front diff. Just don't expect a huge difference in acceleration
Ive been running 285s with 4.30 ever since i got mu truck. With a CAI and an aftermarket muffler i have no power loss. I can whip stock runners.
Hold on,what exactly are you getting for your $1000? Is it a set of front 4.56's and an eLocker with no gears? Or are you getting front and rear 4.30's with an eLocker?
He also has a 4.56 front diff but no rear diff. Just the 8.4 with 4.56
Stock runners with 285's or stock size tires?Ive been running 285s with 4.30 ever since i got mu truck. With a CAI and an aftermarket muffler i have no power loss. I can whip stock runners.
Do you still have the 5.29/285 setup. I'm assuming you have Chris's old rig with the 4 cylinder motor? I wouldn't cruise higher than 70 if that with that setup. What's your input
was it still a hog with all the added weight?
lol was it still slow as piss with all the armor/the fact that it's on 4 cylinders. i ask because I've got the same motor/manual transmission and I'm back and forth between 4.88/5.29's
