4.7L V-8 high performance

If any of ya'll are wanting power for the 4.7L try this.TTC Performance Products Twin turbo 640 RWHP in a supra. and you bet the engine was pulled from a 4Runner. just thought you V-8 guys might be interested. And don't sad the 1GR has a lot parts here as well!:dancin:

i wonder why opt for the 4.7V8 when 2jz motors w/ singel turbo can easily do that much HP. I'd like to see the dyno graphs and compare. See if there's more torque sooner, and no turbo lag.

I'm looking forward to use some of their products as an engineering project in school in my 1GR. I know that toyota offered a supercharger for the 4.7L but it kept burning transmissions if I remember right. At the same time a company called Import performance transmission came and solved that problem. I know many of the people on here won't use or need it as they off-road a lot (theres nothing wrong using your car for what it was built for!) but playing with your friends with evo's, sti's, and Z's is fun too. Has anyone heard of a company called STS? (squires turbo systems) basicly its a bolt on remote turbo mounted UNDER the car. try to find out whats wrong with that system. Again I thought you might get a kick on whats out there.:fro:

They haven't come out with a 4th gen RX7... Yet anyway.

But there are alot of LS1 converted 3rd gens out there.

I'm so-so impressed since a freind of mine in his drag racing days over 10 years ago was putting down 670rwhp on the stock Supra engine with a single turbo swap and ran very low 11s up here at 5800ft. The V8 is heavier so some of those ponies are fighting the extra weight.

If I ever blow my motor I'd build my bottom end for more boost out of my S/C. THat's if and only if, haha
