4 cyl. with a factory sunroof?

I am looking at a 1999 4runner, 4 cyl 2wd. I have not seen pictures yet, but the seller says it has a factory sunroof. I always though that the 4 cyl. model was not available with a sunroof? Is this true.

AFAIK, the 4cyl was only the base model and the base model was not available with a sunroof....so i'm betting aftermarket

Yeah I've never seen a base model with a sunroof either. The one in the runner that you are looking at is probably aftermarket, as already mentioned. Personally, I would rather not have the aftermarket sunroof, since it can leak if it wasn't installed correctly. JMO, though but good luck on your search for a 4Runner.

I'm planning an OEM parts sunroof swap soon... I'll bet his is aftermarket.
