I have a 2007 4 runner and it has been a great car, except the rear hatch latch. First the rubber that covers the switch melted during the summer. Yeah I live in Texas but heh! Toyota says they never heard of this happening even though their fingers got messy as heck. Anyone else have this issue?? any suggestions I used duct tape and it works ok, Now the switch is rather intermittant. Has anyone figured out how to open the rear hatch from the drivers seat??
