I think its nice though....see too many lifted fjs. You hardly see any lifted 4runners, so when you do see one its nice. Esp if it lifted and modded out.

Which one of these is not like the others.......Looks like fun. Nice that they let you play with them. Any other trail pics?

Never noticed before but the T4R looks really narrow when compared to the FJ.

The FJ is a shortened 120 platform. Why wouldnt you be able to keep up (other than size)

The 4 runner does keep up and Sometimes the 3" longer wheel base helps out. It always amazes me when the " New FJ" Owners dont realize its the same thing basically then when the going gets tough they wonder why they get stuck and I dont ! Its all about experience and picking the right lines. :trophy:

Camera is a Cannon EOS 50D w/ 28-135 mm lens

Is that trail over by Wickenburg? If so I think I was on that same trail. My 4runner looks just like yours, same color, lifted, all terrains but without the arb bumper.

I thought that was where it was. It is kind of cool when the water is flowing. Kind of rare in the desert.

LOL You noticed ! I smush it flat every so often then Just bend open again ..Guess I should get the sawzall and shorten it .. just lazy I guess !

How noisy are thoose BFG mud terrains? I have them on my Jeep wrangler but can not tell how noisy they are on the highway because the soft top makes to much noise. They seem to be quiet though. When my BFG all terrains wear out I was thinking about going to the mud terrains on the 4runner but do not want a very loud tire.

These are the Bfg Mud terrain KM2 / Not the regular Mud terrain the tread blocks are different and they are pretty quiet for what they are / they are Soft and wont provide the Mileage as say the All terrain Radials do .I went with a 255/85/16 instead of a 265/75/16 Ive found ( In my Opinion ) the 4 runner prefers tall /skinny vs. a wider say 285 tire the Atrac Seems to work better without the Wider rotating mass. the reasons I get stuck are not due to tire width !! Also I air down to say 15-18 psi when wheeling ( which I do ALOT of ) and the 85 Profile is actually a 33" tire as well. Mileage takes a Hit with the taller tire But I could care less about that. But they Stick very well on rocks etc.
