That's right boys, my 400 RWHP is FOR SALE and with a LOWERED RESERVE to boot (JUST over $30,000).

Moving to Chicago and getting married have all conspired against me, and now I am forced to sell my first born

Thanks, I'm a LONGTIME member of TrailTalk and some other boards, someone advised me to let people know about the sale here as well. Chicago is my original home, but I do miss Portland after all those years in the Northwest.

OH NO, I don't hate cars. The garage has a nice M3 and a Dinan 540iT sitting in it now. When the 4Runner sells, I'm popping for the Dinan S/C on the wagon, good for 400 HP as well. It's soooo much more Chicago

oooohhh....nice! there's a shop located somewhere downtown chicago that specializes in bmws and especially hooking them up with Dinan products. i forget where though. as you can probably tell from the snow.....it helps to have an SUV in the winter.

I believe the shop you are referring to is Fall-Line Motorsports, and they have now moved to Northbrook - and while I live downtown, they are conveniently enough about 5 minutes from my office. I have had all of my work done there, and will have the S/C and Brembo brakes installed there soon (I hope...)

SUV for winter - been there, done that. I have snow tires on both cars and am having no trouble at all. I'm cruising through alleyways (never plowed in Chicago) where I have see front-drivers and awds (with all-seasons) spinning helpless!

winter tires are great, but they aren't a must either. i have no problems with my little corolla either, but i still prefer to take the truck out to play in the snow. i guess it all depends on the driver.

btw, there'll be a lot of little ricers here in chicago that'll be surprised to be blown away by a station wagon. :zoom: i believe the owner of the place has an m5 dinan equipped. he showed off to us at a light downtown after he gave my uncle his card. we were in an e36 m3. i believe a cop caught up to him immediately.

What were you trying to achieve by adding all the power? Was it for street use, some towing application, some offroad specialty use or just for fun?

I have occasionally desired a NOS but can't see its application being of much value or use on a 4WD.

Sorry if this sounds negative, its not meant to be. I'm just curious about your motivation.
