Thanks... And good eye by the way. You must be like my friend Rob. Show the guy 2 square inches of any car and he'll tell you anything you want to know about it. For a real challenge, tell me what's hiding behind the 4Runner's driver side mirror...

But, it might be a bike, maybe a Honda, maybe a Gixxer..

wild guesses though..

(haha: highly optimistic that you have a bike; if you do, pictures )

might be a parking sensor light though..

honestly though, i don't know..

Actually... It is a bike. A 1998 Kawasaki ZX-9R to be exact. I hesitated to attach this picture because the quality is so bad. I haven't taken any pics of it since I got my new camera.

After a week with this bug deflector, I found a problem. At any speed over 50 MPH or so, the side mirrors start vibrating from the turbulence caused by the deflector. I wouldn't say the mirrors are unusable, but it's much harder to see distant objects. I'm going to try trimming a little width off the deflector to see if it helps.

I have this same deflector but have not noticed the mirror problem.....Is it that noticeable? Do your mirrors feel loose? I will pay attention when I get back out to see if my mirrors do this.

I hope you can fix the problem without removing the deflector......It may not help much with bugs on the windshield but it sure helps prevent paint dings on the hood.

The first day I drove on the interstate with my new deflector, I noticed the side mirrors looked kind of buzzy. I checked to make sure the mirrors weren't loose and then took the deflector off and took a test drive. Sure enough the buzzing went away. At highway speeds with the deflector on, it's hard to see cars way behind you, like when you're checking for cops. I'll figure something out...
