4R Nor'easter snow beard

Snow beard (what my wife said) on the 4R on a 125 mile run up the parkway from Atlantic City to Northern NJ during yesterday's storm. No problems clipping along in 4W at 45MPH

"Snow beard" indeed!

I had something similar years ago, blocked airflow enough to cause overheating!

Seems like really heavy moist snow. Doesnt get like that around here because it's really dry.

That storm last Wed was pretty wet. Had to drive from DIA home, at night, in that whiteout. 1.5hr drive became 3.5. Funny, the stuff is STILL melting from my undercarriage.

But even our wet snow has never left my vehicle looking like that.

That’s what I was wondering.
It looks like a pre-2020 Limited. Should have the OEM halogens.

The inspection sticker expires this year, so it is a 2015/16.

So yeah, halogen.

But we are supposed to run with headlights on in rain/snow in NY/NJ...
Which *SHOULD* have melted that.
