4Rjunkie build thread

Ordered some pretty bright license plate LEDs. I need a good camera these iPhone picks really suck.

So as I was installing these. I guess I ended up blowing a fuse?! I installed the left bulb first then the right. As I was installing I noticed that the lights weren't on anymore? I purposely turned them on to see if I needed to switch the bulbs because of the polarity.

I kinda freaked out cause all my head lights were on. And my tail light were out and the License plates lights were out too. If I hit the brake they would turn on but after that nothing.

So I opened up the small fuse box under the steering wheel and pulled out fuse 10a and yup, blown! I wonder how it happend?

Dumb question but, the key wasn't in the ignition at the time of the bulb install was it?

Nope, they weren't. I unlocked the truck, put the keys in my back pocket and just flipped the head light switch on.

Can I ask why u ask? Could that have been the reason for the blown fuse?
