Just FYI, your vote DOES NOT count towards the election of the President. The electoral college is the actual voting body, and while they are usually consistent with the popular vote, 4 times in history there have been discrepancies with the electoral college voting in a manner inconsistent with the popular vote. Additionally, only something like 28 states have laws in place that mandate voting in accordance with the popular vote.
But Okki is right, go vote.
No way in hell Obama wins Florida or Ohio! we are blood red here in Florida and! We made the mistake last election

-- if we are lucky and it does not get dragged out.

Why is there no option for confederate?![]()
I voted for the person I felt should win and can hopefully do a good job.
Ultimately tonight I'll be voting beer or liquor, triscuits, cheddar cheese, and a good action flick. No way I am wasting time on the news reports.
There is a possibility that Romney could take Illinois!!! If I recall, Ill switched their electoral votes to track the national popular vote. With the vote being this close, Romney could take the national popular vote and thereby end up taking ILL. That would be hilarious, O's home state, which is owned by upstate Dems swinging Republican.
Hey.. it took foreign import to start this thread... so with this being my second language (of 7) I'll take the minor misspelling. :lmao: :moon:
But if it pleases, I can do a follow up poll on "Yankee vs Confederate" or "Which state will secede from the Union first" LOL
Okki
Im kinda surprised that not everyone here is voting democrat seeing as were all Toyota drivers; which of course makes us all tree hugging communists for not driving Fords or Chevys...
That must make me an independent, since I'm driving both a Toyota AND a Chevy with the same truck!
