4Runner Alignment in Phoenix, Arizona??

Ok, I have the 6112 shocks on the 4th clip and 265 Nittos and just installed the Dirt King UCAs (Bushing Style Upper Control Arms) ... i took my 4Runner to Firestone to get aligned and they put it on their machine and said its maxed out and its off.

Where is there a GOOD alignment place in West Valley/Phoenix?

I am driving over there to get it but shouldnt upper control arms fix the issue to bring the alignment back in line to get it straight?

I would take it to Tom at Camelback Toyota. He does all the alignments after he installs SPC UCAs, Icon Billet and Tubular UCAs. Knowledgeable and stands by his work. Robert Gonzolez can schedule you with Tom at Camelback Toyota (16th St and Camelback). Tom builds all of Camelback Toyotas lifted vehicles brand new for sale.

I have total chaos UCAs and 6112s set at the very top 5th clip up. My alignment wasn't too far off from stock to begin with after the lift. I would definitely consider taking it to somewhere else to get it aligned. The new UCAs should help you get more caster as well.

Thanks for sharing,... I called Camelback Toyota and the tech and service rep there feel extremely confident they can get it aligned properly. I have a Saturday appt to get it done.

Alignement successs

Update:

Made a Saturday morning appointment at Camelback Toyota and let me tell you they have their STUFF TOGETHER THERE! Service was the best I have experienced at any dealer of any make.

I was out in just under 2 hours with my regular scheduled service plus alignment and Robert Gonzalez who helped me was very helpful and confident about the service tech Tom's ability to get my alignment nailed.

Oh and they really liked my Dirt King Fabrication Upper Control Arms.
Here is the result of my alignment.... before was from Firestone and (another Toyota dealer) and they said I was maxed out... and after is what Tom at Camelback Toyota got it to.



So the lesson learned for me is that find a location that has someone that truly knows what they are doing. Just because they have the tools doesnt mean they know how to use them.

How much do they charge for an alignment at the dealer? I had mine done at Network Alignment on Cave Creek Rd and it turned out great. It was $70.

I used to take my Suburban with a procomp kit and 35s to Network Alignment. They have another location in Glendale. I was also referred to them by 2 different people for good alignments on 4X4s and they are cheaper than Camelback Toyota which is $99 for an alignment.

If Network Alignment offers a lifetime alignment I would be probably be going to them.

I decided to go to Camelback Toyota because the Service Tech there Tom really knows his stuff specifically on 4Runners and Tacomas.

Figured I would jump on an opportunity to exploit a Phoenix thread... Where did you fellas have your lifts done? Looking for a good install place that is KDSS savvy. Don't have room at home to do it on my own. Thanks in advance.

Glad you had a great experience at Camelback Toyota. I did a dealer trade with them to get my current 4runner. Very helpful from what I've seen so far. For recommendations on where to get a lift installed in the valley I'm lost. I know Toyota of Surprise will install your lift but I'm not sure of the cost. I installed my own at my work. Let me know if you can't find anyone to do your lift. I would be willing to help you out if need be.

Camelback Toyota have Robert Gonzalez help you and make sure Tom is your tech installer.

Toyota of Surprise make sure Wally is your Tech Installer.

Avondale Toyota does lots of lifts but primarly on Tundras and their alignments are outsourced.

With all the lifted 4Runners on this forum there should be a thread for trustworthy alignment/suspension places to go to. I went to Firestone and I might as well let them burn my $80 instead of having them do what they call an alignment. I am glad I found Camelback Toyota from a recommendation here on this forum.

I am in the Phoenix area as well and looking for a shop to do a 3" lift. Any recommendations in the east or west valley? So far I've only got quoted from Desert Rat for $700-$800 for parts and install.
