4Runner Blown Head Gasket

I have a 94 4Runner with a blown head gasket. Anyone know of a good shop or mechanic that can replace my head gasket. I am located in Brooklyn, New York.

There is a recall for head gaskets around the year of your 4Runner. Call Toyota or search around about that, they are still replacing them for free.

i am sure that the recall no longer applies, it certainly didn't when i blew mine.

just a thought, but depending on the condition of the engine, you might want to put another one in. as i recall, it isn't much more expensive and you can get a warranty.

if your gonna replace the motor.... replace it with the 3.4... you dont need that 3.slow in there anymore, besides, its also known as a 3.xplode for a reason....
