Ditto. My driver's side is 0.75" lower than the passenger side, even controlling for other variables. I thought it might be the old shocks but I replaced them last week and the lean is still there. I'm glad someone started this thread - can't wait to see what folks post up...

Shocks don't support the weight of your vehicle but the springs do. Could be that your springs are the problem

Im running a 1.5" spacer on my passanger side (combined with a 1.5" lift in front ) , and a 2" lift spacer on my drivers side just to level my truck out. And its a 99

I've got 1" daystars in the front, but even before that when it was just factory, my front drivers side has always been 1/2" lower and my rear drivers side is a 1/4" lower than their respective passenger sides. The only time the fronts were really close was right after I put the spacers in and the truck hadn't had time to settle. Then I took it to get an alignment done, and when it came out, you could see it right away. I always thought it was supposed to be that way. All of my trucks i've owned have been like that. I always justified it by considering most roads have a left to right grade (from the center line to the outer edge while looking out of your windshield) to promote runoff, and with the passenger side being slightly higher than the drivers side this would help level the vehicle out and promote better tire contact with the surface of the road. :shrug:

I had the shocks and struts replaced on both sides of the front (driver/passenger). I still have a little bit of a lean. This weekend I'm going to take some pics of the front, back, and underneath so people can have a look at the suspension. Maybe it's something that the stealership missed.

I don't mean to sound like an ass but for clarities sake you mean springs and struts??? or are you saying you replaced the struts in the front and the shocks in the rear?

Sorry for being a noob, but I'm just not sure what things are called. What I do know is that the shock absorbers and springs in the front drivers and passengers are brand new. There was no work done on the back end of the vehicle. I'm not sure what a strut is. The dealership either said they replaced the shocks and struts, or the springs and struts. I cannot remember. Sorry for the confusion this is causing.

Struts are what we have in front and are built in within the coils, these two are then considered as one unit whereas Shocks like what we have in the rear are separate from the springs.

Oh ok, no problem. How much lean do you have? If you're within that 0-3/4" margin I would say it's normal. maybe even a full inch.

That's about right. At least that's what one mechanic told me - 3/4" lower on the driver side. I'm really surprised that's normal. I mean, I don't see any other 3G4R leaning to one side. Maybe it's because now that I know there's a lean I see it in my mind. Hmmm.

Just get a trim packer for the driverside like I believe was previously mentioned in this thread and it'll be close enough to level that you don't notice.

Can you take some measurements? I see the back is leaning too but is it at the same degree as the front...I can't tell from the pics. Looks like the front is worse but I don't know.
