Saw this pic on the Channel 7 website (thedenverchannel.com) front page. Anyone on here?

I live downtown, but apparently the south side of town got quite a shellacking from hail yesterday.

Thought ya'll would appreciate this :D

We moved from Aurora to Grand Junction a year ago, but hail in the Spring is a normal occurance in Colorado. I recall that in the last 23 years there have been several hail storms bad enough to ruin cars AND houses. It gets real nasty when the hailstones get as big as golf balls or larger.

the good news is that Grand Junction doesn't seem to get those monster hail storms like the Front Range does, nor do we get the tornadoes either.

Yeah, I think we're going to have one of those summers. Seems like it's getting started a little early this year. I just hope that my Runner is under cover of protection if we do :D

Yep, know ALL about the hail. Baseball sized hail got us a couple weeks ago, that's why I now have a new 4Runner. Hail totaled my 96 Acura Integra GSR, smashed up every panel, and busted the windshield. I have some of the hail stones saved in my freezer because I've never seen them that large. Some measure more than 2.5" in diameter....... :bugeye:

The front lawn, you can just see some of the hood of my poor Teg. The noise of this crap hitting the house and windows was deafening. I am amazed none of the house windows were broken, but our roof turbines did not fare so well...

I'm just up the road from you, luckily the tree in my front yard shielded the 4Runner a bit, she still has hail damage on every panel, thankfully the glass stayed in it.......

Where are you going to get yours fixed???

Actually the 4Runner was bought after the hail storm so I gotta wait till we get another one in the vicinity so I can claim it. It's got a few hits, about 16 total, from the dealer lot (Hiley Mazda)

The Acura, well, whoever gets it off the wholesale lot will have to deal with that one, because it's gone lol. EVERY panel got trashed, and busted the windshield.

My 2000 Ram, is being fixed by Sterling Autobody here in NRH. AllState owns them, and being as that, when they do the work it's warrantied for life. My ram goes in on the 18th of this month, and will take probably two weeks to fix, as most of it will have to be repainted and/or replaced. They said the dents are so deep, and the paint being 7 years old and starting to show some signs of fading, that when they pull the deeper dents, the paint is going to crack. So, he said it'd probably get a new paintjob out of the deal except for a few panels.

Sterling Autobody has fixed that truck twice before when my wife got hit a couple times, and they always seem to do a great job!!
