4runner door lock problem 1999 ltd

Hi everyone,

I search forum for a while but can't find exact solution to the problem.
I have 4runner 99 ltd and it has this weird problem: The door will unlock fine but it would not lock.
Here what I have tried:
- I tried buttons on keyless door lock did not work (no sound). Unlock work.
- I tried the buttons inside. When I press the door lock button, nothing happens at all.

What is the cause this problem and What part should I buy to do the replacement (link or pic could be great)?

gunna barrow your thread but mine will randomly lock, as soon as i unlock it it locks right back. it will do it like 10x in a row

Sounds like you drivers door sensor is telling the system that the door is open. Need to investigate.
