4runner Drifting/powersiliding An Suv?!?!?

Im about to get an 87 SR5 for graduation. Im really into the drifting scene, but i crashed my last car and my parents will not pay insurance on another small car so I decided to by my neighbors 4. Ive found a couple sites with some parts for the first gen 4runner like sway bars and shocks ect., but I have not found anything with lowering leaf springs/torsion bars. If anyone knows where I can get some it would be a big help. Besides suspensen lowering, I am also planing on getting low profile tires to which would lower about 2 inches. Please post any suggestions or opinions.

thats a same to do that to a 4runner. they were meant to go where shouldn't. anyway pull a leaf out of the back, that will make it lower and flexier. not sure what yor gonna do about the front. but do u relieze that your driving a 4wd and if you start to slide it your gonna roll it. and i dont know if u have the 22re or the 3.0 but the 22re doesnt have near enough power to drift! have fun

funny thing is that I've seen a video posted online that shows some crazy guy driving a semi (literally a semi (16 wheeler)) without the trailer load and power sliding on a course!!!! it was pretty amazing and boy was he crazy.

so i guess a 4runner can power slide too

Semi's have so much torque, I bet its easy to get those to break lose. Especially the turbo-diesel, up the boost and away you go...

The Semi has a much less chance of rolling over than a 4runner does however, the track is much wider and its much more stable than an SUV.
