4Runner Drivers Don't Wave?

About a month or so I was headed somewhere and another 4runner was making a turn past me. We both looked at each other like, "Do I wave?".

There was eye contact and a half-effort hand raise from the steering wheel.

Magic

I guessed your location of, "Seattle" before looking at your profile =p

I feel terrible. I rarely take the old girl out anymore, but did this past weekend around town. Saw a sweet ass Tacoma with a solid axle and crazy suspension but I didn't wave. I think I felt inadequate. And now reading thru and 2 different guys say they don't wave of it has running boards.... Well I ordered sliders this morning. I like the running boards but they do remove a fair level of respect from the Toyota/4wd community. Regardless of whatever else I have added including, lights, shovel/axe, huge tires and of course they don't know she's a supercharged 3.4 2nd gen... Until they try and pass me teehee

That's because we live in California. People don't wave here, or say hi, or anything like that. You are much more likely to get flipped off than waved at on any road or highway, that is for sure. Other than my neighbors I don't recall anyone ever waving to me on the road. However, I do let fellow 3rd gens merge over to help a brother (or sister) out.

Never mind I see on average 5 or so 3rd Gens on my way to work every day.
