Hey I have a problem my exhaust smells like sulfur and or rotten eggs also the check engine light just went on. I think it maybe the cats. has anyone put on after market cat before? where is a good place to buy them and o2 sensors? I have looked at eastern, catco, and theyare direct replacement bolt on's. any ideas? Guess I am going to put headers on while i'm at it. anyone know a reputable place to have them coated? jet hot is expensive.

If you want a generic high flow just go to a busy muffler shop. Around here they do custom exhaust w/o cat for around 250. A high flow aftermarket cat shouldn't be more than 350 and the shop can reuse your 02 sensers. So your looking at a high flow setup for 600 bucks, pretty good deal. As for the headers Doug Thorley are the best for this engine. There is a group buy right now on CT.

Youll also have to look and see if you have a 2nd cat coming right after the passenger side downpipe and if you have EGR. If you wanted to S/C you may want to wait on headers because you need to do mods to your headers anyways.
